The Story Behind Carrie O’Brien Law
Carrie O’Brien has spent more than a decade standing up for hardworking Minnesotans who’ve been injured on the job. What began as a receptionist position in 2013 at a Minneapolis law firm quickly grew into a lifelong passion for helping people navigate the complex world of workers’ compensation and injury law.
Over the years, Carrie worked her way through every role in the firm — from legal assistant to intake specialist and Director of Operations — before becoming a licensed attorney and founding The Law Office of Carrie O’Brien, PLLC, a practice dedicated to advocating for injured workers with honesty, compassion, and persistence.
Her hands-on experience in every step of the process gives her a unique understanding of what clients truly need. Carrie knows that behind every claim is a real person trying to recover and rebuild, and she’s committed to standing beside them every step of the way — making sure they’re heard, informed, and protected.
Carrie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Augsburg College and her Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. She focuses primarily on workers’ compensation cases and also handles select personal injury matters involving accidents that occur in or around the workplace.
When she’s not fighting for her clients, Carrie enjoys cooking, boating, and spending time at her cabin with her husband and their two dogs.
